Amazon innovation now makes gift giving easier

This holiday season, Amazon is simplifying the process of buying and giving gifts.

From now on, you can send gifts to others via email or text, even if you don’t know their address, Amazon announced Monday. All you need is the recipient’s email address or phone number.

To use the new service, you must be an Amazon Prime member. Then, simply shop for the gift and select “Add gift receipt for easy return” at check-out. At this point, you will be asked for the email or mobile phone address of the recipient.

Amazon will notify the recipient of the gift, and the recipient can either accept the gift or exchange it for an Amazon Gift Card. The giver will not be notified if the recipient decides to exchange the gift.

The ability to send gifts by email or text won’t be the only new development for Amazon’s holiday shopping season of 2021. Although it’s only the first week of October, Amazon says it’s already rolling out deals that are “worth it.” Black Friday.”

Starting Monday, you can find “big discounts across every category,” Amazon says. This includes products in categories such as:

  • fashion
  • Homepage
  • Beauty
  • Kids Games
  • electronics
  • Amazon devices

There will be new deals every day. According to Amazon:

Plus, on select days during October and November, top brands like Apple, Hasbro, Sony, Shark, L’Oreal Paris, Bose, KitchenAid and more will offer limited-time deals with deeper deals on their selection of most-loved products to give Amazon customers More ways to save.

Finally, Amazon announced that until December 18, shoppers who have not previously purchased an Amazon Gift Card will get $10 free credit if they spend $50 or more on Amazon Gift Cards.
