TallyPrime on a cloud service

As businesses grow and evolve, business dynamics and requirements are constantly changing. With the development of current technologies and the emergence of new technologies, the need to access business applications and data from anywhere has gained momentum. Most businesses today want to take advantage of the cloud accounting or computing space that makes it easy to access data and applications on the go. Under the prevailing situation, the need accelerated.

To stay committed to delivering changes that make your life easier, we have changed our licensing policy as of June 2020, which facilitates Tally licensing and data usage across virtual/cloud platforms. This change is known as a concept as Tally Virtual User (TVU).

To further simplify, we’ve partnered with AWS (Amazon Web Services) to enable businesses to access TallyPrime from anywhere.

Fine! Let us now understand this in more detail.

TallyPrime, powered by AWS

It is a collaborative solution powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), and provides a powerful option for businesses to access TallyPrime from anywhere. In simple words, with the help of this solution, you can remotely access TallyPrime installed on a virtual machine.

To be clear, users can now access TallyPrime running on a remote device, let’s say it’s installed on the cloud using a client app, no matter where you are.

As shown in the chart above, with the Collaborative Connected solution, it is now possible to install TallyPrime and data on Amazon’s cloud space and access it remotely using login credentials.

Benefits of a connected TallyPrime solution powered by AWS

  • While traveling or when meeting your clients, you can use this secure solution to access TallyPrime from anywhere
  • You’ll have the flexibility to work on the same data collaboratively with other users
  • Seamlessly upload your existing data to a virtual cloud and keep using it
  • A cost-effective TallyPrime remote access solution with complete flexibility to choose the plans that best suit your business. s
  • At Tally and AWS, you have technology leaders in place (business software and cloud systems). Therefore, it is very reliable.

How does the AWS-powered connected solution work?

In any remote environment, there are two components – server and client. Here, the server is the main computer in which the application and data are hosted. Here, your server is an Amazon cloud system in which TallyPrime is installed and data is configured.

On the other hand, a client is a device through which you want to access the application/data hosted in the server machine. You can call the client a remote computer. With this remote computer, you can log in remotely to access TallyPrime hosted on a cloud server.
