These 5 star hotels won’t cost you a fortune

Staying in a five star hotel sounds like a traveler’s dream. But given the cost, it may also be a fantasy for many of us.

However, if you choose wisely, you can get the five-star experience without paying an exorbitant price. In fact, the Top Dollar website has found 10 first-class hotels around the world that charge less than $40 a night.

Top Dollar says these hotels all meet the “five-star” criteria, which includes perks such as:

  • Hotel staff who greet you in person
  • Luxury accommodation
  • Facilities that meet all your needs

The cheapest entry on the list is the Novotel Ahmedabad in Ahmedabad, India. This luxury hotel costs only $28 per night. It is located near the airport and industrial centers and serves Japanese and Korean cuisine, as well as an outdoor pool.

Followed by the Royal Surakarta Heritage Solo MGallery Collection in Surakarta, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Java and is near the Mangkunegaran Palace and Radya Pustaka Museum from the 19th century. Stay here, and you’ll get a semi-outdoor pool, spa, and luxurious Javanese décor, according to Travel & Leisure.

Including these, the following 10 hotels offer a five-star experience at a budget price, according to the Top Dollar website:

  • Angkor Aurora in Siem Reap, Cambodia: $39

No hotels in America qualify for a bargain price under $40. The cheapest five-star hotel in North America is the 1970 Posada Guadalajara by Hilton in Guadalajara, Mexico, which starts at $79 per night.

The cheapest in the US specifically is Adero Scottsdale in Arizona, which is part of the Marriott’s Autograph Collection. It costs $224 a night, according to the Top Dollar website.
